Messsage from the Chair

Greetings,

As Chairman of ACMP, I want to welcome you to the official website of the organization.

Chartered in 1982, the ACMP is the only organization in the United States devoted exclusively to the professional activities of medical physicists.  It collaborates with both physician and other physics organizations in achieving this purpose.

I encourage you to have a look at some of the presentations from our past annual meetings, as well as other webpages to get a feeling for some of the ongoing activities of the College.

If you are a practicing medical physicist, I hope you agree that joining the ACMP is a positive career move for you.  Membership applications can be downloaded here.  Board certified or experienced medical physicists are eligible for full membership, while others are welcomed as provisional or trainee members. In addition to joining the professional organization representing Medical Physicists, I hope you will also give some thought to volunteering to serve on one of our Commissions or Committees.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Christopher Serago, PhD
Chairman
